Refund, Returns & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how Vertex Labs handles cancellations, refunds, returns, damaged items, shipping issues, and post-delivery responsibility.
Due to the research-use-only nature of our products, orders placed through Vertex Labs are handled under the conditions described below.
1. Research Use Only
All products sold by Vertex Labs are offered strictly for research use only.
Our products are:
- Not for human consumption.
- Not for veterinary use.
- Not intended for clinical, therapeutic, diagnostic, medical, or unauthorized use.
- Intended solely for lawful laboratory, analytical, and research applications.
By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and agrees that all products are being purchased solely for lawful research purposes.
2. Order Cancellations
Orders may only be canceled before shipment.
If a cancellation request is received and approved before the order has shipped, the customer will be entitled to a 100% refund to the original payment method.
Once an order has been shipped, cancellations are no longer accepted.
3. Returns
We do not accept returns.
All sales are final once an order has been shipped, unless Vertex Labs determines, in its sole discretion, that a specific order issue qualifies for a resolution.
4. Damaged Items
If an item arrives damaged, the customer must contact our support team as soon as possible through the Contact Us section of the website.
To allow us to review the issue promptly, the customer should provide:
- The order number.
- Clear photos of the damaged item.
- Photos of the shipping package, when applicable.
- A brief description of the issue.
Once the request is received, our team will review the information and assist as quickly as reasonably possible.
5. Refunds
Refunds are only issued for approved cancellations made before shipment, unless Vertex Labs determines, in its sole discretion, that a specific order issue qualifies for a resolution.
Any approved refund will be issued to the original payment method.
Processing times for approved refunds may vary depending on the payment provider, financial institution, and payment method used at checkout.
6. Shipping and Delivery
Orders are processed in the order received. Processing and delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Vertex Labs is not responsible for carrier delays, delivery interruptions, lost packages after carrier acceptance, weather-related delays, or other shipping issues outside of our control.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all shipping information submitted at checkout is accurate and complete. Vertex Labs is not responsible for orders affected by incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer.
7. Responsibility After Delivery
Once an order has been marked as delivered by the carrier to the shipping address provided at checkout, responsibility for the order transfers to the customer.
The customer is responsible for proper receipt, handling, storage, security, and lawful use of all products after delivery.
8. Limitation of Liability
Vertex Labs shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost, or claim arising from misuse, improper handling, unauthorized application, or any use of its products outside of lawful research purposes.
By purchasing from this website, the customer accepts full responsibility for ensuring that all products are used in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and the Research Use Only limitations stated on this website.
