1. Purpose and permitted use

This Policy describes the research-use restrictions and purchaser requirements of Greenrock Investment Group LLC, doing business as Vertex Labs (“Vertex,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), for materials offered through vertexpeptideslab.org.

Permitted use is limited to lawful laboratory, analytical, and non-clinical research that complies with the restrictions below. Describing an activity as “research” does not make personal experimentation or administration to a person or animal an accepted use.

This Policy supplements our Terms & Conditions. Read both before placing an order.

2. Who may purchase

Businesses, research organizations, and individual researchers may purchase when the person placing the order meets all of the following requirements:

• Age: you are at least 21 years old and have legal capacity to enter into the transaction.
• Research purpose: you are purchasing exclusively for lawful research within the scope described on this page.
• Preparation: you have the knowledge, training, and facilities appropriate to the materials and proposed laboratory activities.
• Authority: if purchasing for an organization, you are authorized to place the order and accept the applicable terms on its behalf.
• Accurate information: the purchaser, billing, shipping, and other information you provide is truthful and complete.

The age-21 minimum is Vertex’s purchasing policy. It applies to the individual placing an order, including someone acting for a business. Delivery is limited to the United States and Puerto Rico.

Our current eligibility process relies on purchaser declarations and does not require additional eligibility documentation. An age or research-use acknowledgment is not independent verification of identity, professional credentials, laboratory facilities, or the suitability of an experiment.

When placing an order, you represent that these requirements are met. Purchasing as an individual researcher does not permit personal use or self-administration.

3. Prohibited uses and transfers

You may not purchase, use, formulate, relabel, distribute, or promote Vertex materials for:

• Human or animal consumption or administration, including self-experimentation.
• Medical treatment, disease prevention, diagnosis, clinical care, therapeutic use, or veterinary use.
• Compounding or preparing a product intended for administration to a person or animal.
• Use as a food, dietary supplement, cosmetic, household product, or recreational product.
• Any purpose prohibited by applicable law or the material’s stated restrictions.

Do not transfer a material to someone you know or reasonably suspect intends a prohibited use. Any lawful onward transfer must preserve product identification, applicable safety information, and research-use restrictions.

4. Laboratory handling and purchaser responsibilities

Before using a material in research, review its labeling, lot identification, available analytical documentation, and relevant handling and safety information. If information needed for safe laboratory work is missing or unclear, contact Vertex before proceeding.

You are responsible for selecting suitable laboratory procedures, using appropriate protective measures, controlling access, and following applicable storage, transport, and disposal requirements. Obtain any authorization required for your particular research activity.

Keep materials securely stored and inaccessible to children and unauthorized persons. Do not use material with an unresolved identification, labeling, container-integrity, or quality concern until the issue has been assessed.

These responsibilities do not excuse an inaccurate product description, a product defect, or an obligation that remains with Vertex under applicable law.

5. COAs, scientific information, and support

A Certificate of Analysis reports the findings and methods stated in that document for the submitted sample and identified lot. Review the complete report through our COA directory and consult our Testing Standards & COA Verification Process for the documented testing scope.

Independent testing and a satisfactory purity result do not establish clinical safety, approval for administration, or completion of tests not included in the report.

A scientific reference, compound name, or comparison with a substance used in an approved medicine does not establish that a Vertex product is an approved medicine or suitable for the same use.

Customer support assists with orders, product identification, available documentation, and related research-material questions. We do not provide medical or veterinary advice, treatment recommendations, dosing instructions, or guidance for personal-use administration or reconstitution.

6. Orders inconsistent with these requirements

Vertex may decline or cancel an order when there is a reasonable basis to believe it involves fraud, an unlawful transaction, or a prohibited intended use. An order acknowledgment, payment authorization, or website-access acknowledgment does not override these requirements.

If we cannot accept or fulfill a paid order, we will notify you and refund the amount due under our Refund, Returns & Cancellation Policy and applicable law. Order review does not extend a legally required shipment or refund deadline.

Eligibility restrictions do not prevent you from contacting Vertex about an existing order, a documentation concern, a legal notice, or a privacy request.

7. Regulatory scope and preserved rights

A research-use label, purchaser declaration, or completed sale does not grant regulatory approval, a professional license, or permission for an otherwise prohibited activity. Regulatory obligations depend on the applicable law and the actual facts, including product representations and intended use.

This Policy does not create a blanket exemption from law or transfer Vertex’s legal responsibilities to the purchaser. It also does not waive an applicable warranty, an express product commitment, or a remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Our Terms & Conditions govern the contractual terms of an order. This page does not add a separate liability waiver or change the dispute provisions in those Terms.

Age and research-use declarations do not, by themselves, provide consent to optional marketing or advertising tracking. Our Privacy Policy explains our information practices.

Updates to this Policy apply prospectively and do not retroactively reduce a commitment made for an accepted order unless a lawful change is expressly agreed.
